These terms cover the Awaz app (app ID on Google Play: fyi.awaz.app) and this website. In these terms, "we" refers to Awaz Labs, which sells Awaz packages. By signing in, using the app or buying a package, you agree to these terms. Please also read the Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use Awaz

You must be 18 or older.

2. Your account

  • Sign in with your own mobile number or Google account. Your account is for you alone.
  • Keep your phone and Google account secure. Sign-in is run by Google's Firebase. If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to your Google account.
  • We may suspend an account used to abuse the service, for example through automated sign-in attempts.
  • You can delete your account at any time. A running package ends with the account. See Delete your account.

3. The service

  • Daily practice, routines and past exam questions in the app need no payment (outside the Special BCS (Health) section). Model tests, and everything in the Special BCS (Health) section, need a package; without one, that section's lists can only be viewed.
  • The app has no ads.
  • Nothing can be bought inside the app. Packages are bought on the Awaz website.
  • Questions, explanations and images are loaded from Upstash when needed. An internet connection is required to study; the app does not download a question bank for offline use.
  • We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop the service. We do not promise that it will always be available or without errors.

4. Packages

  • A package is a digital service for a fixed term. While it runs, you can use the model tests of every job track and the Special BCS (Health) section.
  • A package does not renew by itself. Nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
  • The term starts at the time of payment and runs until 11:59 pm (Bangladesh time) on its last day. If you buy again while a package is running, the new term is added to the end of the current one.
  • A package belongs to one Awaz account: the account of the mobile number or Google email given at checkout. It cannot be transferred or resold.
  • The app checks with our server whether the account has a current package before loading paid question content. An internet connection is required. Losing a connection does not pause or extend the package term.
  • After the term ends, paid question content is no longer available. Your results, history and bookmarks are not deleted when a package ends.
  • If we stop the service or permanently remove part of a package during a paid term, we refund the unused days pro rata.
  • The medical and dental science questions in the Special BCS (Health) section are practice questions in English. Source: MedMCQA (practice questions from India's AIIMS and NEET PG). They are not past BCS questions.

5. Buying a package: price, payment and refunds

Price

  • Packages, terms and prices:
    • 1-month package: 30 days, BDT 299
    • 6-month package: 180 days, BDT 799
    • 12-month package: 365 days, BDT 1,299
  • Prices are in Bangladeshi taka. The price shown is the total price. Nothing more is taken at payment.
  • If a price changes, the new price is published on the Packages and prices page and in these terms. A package already bought is not affected.

Payment

  • Packages are sold only on this website. You pay on the payment page of SSLCOMMERZ, our payment service provider, with one of the methods available there.
  • You enter card numbers, PINs and verification codes on SSLCOMMERZ's page. We never receive or store them.
  • Give the correct mobile number or Google email at checkout. The Return and Refund Policy says what to do if you bought for the wrong account.

Delivery

  • A package is a digital service. Nothing is shipped.
  • Delivery time: a package is switched on as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a few minutes. If a payment is held for checking, it can take up to 72 hours.
  • The package is switched on for the account you gave. Log in to the app with that account and, while online, use the Refresh control under Settings → Account; the package then opens.
  • If the payment service provider marks a payment as risky, one of our staff checks it. We then tell you the outcome by phone or email within 72 hours.
  • If you were charged and the package does not open, write to support@awaz.fyi with the order number.

Refunds

The Return and Refund Policy sets out the refund rules. It is part of these terms.

Complaints

  • To complain, email support@awaz.fyi or call +880 1345-579642. For a complaint about a package, give the order number.
  • We answer complaints within 72 hours.

6. Not a government service

Awaz is an independent app. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) or any other government body. For notices, syllabi and results, the official information from the relevant authority always prevails.

7. Practice, not a promise

  • Awaz helps you practise. It does not guarantee a job, a pass, a cut-off or any score, with or without a package.
  • Questions, answers and explanations may contain mistakes. Subject labels are assigned automatically and may be wrong. Exam rules in the app are correct as of the date shown there and may change. Please report mistakes to support@awaz.fyi.
  • Medical, dental and other health questions are for exam preparation only. They are not medical advice. For health matters, consult a qualified doctor.

8. Content and licences

  • The app, its design, text, question collection and images belong to Awaz or its licensors.
  • You get a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable licence to use the app. It ends if you break these terms.
  • Do not copy, scrape, extract or share the questions or other content (including from the app's files), and do not sell access to them. Do not reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
  • The Anek Bangla font is used under the SIL Open Font License. Open-source licences are listed in the app under Settings → User guide → Open-source licences.

9. Acceptable use

Use Awaz lawfully. Do not try to break its security, open package content without a package, overload it, sign in as someone else or misuse support.

10. Your data

Your answers, results, bookmarks and other study records are saved on your phone and sync through our server to your other devices signed in to the same account. Loading the questions linked to those records requires an internet connection. The app sends separate usage statistics to Google Analytics; you can turn those off in Settings. To check for a package, the app sends proof of your sign-in to our server, and if you buy a package, the order is kept there. You are responsible for your own backup files. The Privacy Policy explains how all of this is handled.

11. Limits of liability

Awaz is provided "as is", to the extent Bangladeshi law allows. We are not liable for indirect loss, for exam results, or for decisions made from the app's content. Nothing in this section reduces the rights the law gives a buyer.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using Awaz after that, you accept the new terms. The term, price and refund rules of a running package are not changed to the buyer's disadvantage during that term.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
